GoToMeeting's iPad app offers an easy and convenient way to attend online meetings.
You can view whatever meeting presenters choose to share on-screen, including slide presentations, design mockups, spreadsheets, and reports. You can see who is presenting and who is talking. In addition, you can join the conversation via VoIP through iPad's audio or over a regular phone.
You can join a meeting on your iPad by tapping the link in your invitation email. Alternatively, you can attend a meeting by entering the Meeting ID provided by the meeting organizer. You don’t need to purchase an account to attend GoToMeeting sessions.
To connect to the audio portion of a meeting, you can use the mic and speakers in your iPad, plug a headset into your iPad, or dial in to the conference call using your phone.
However, the iPad app doesn't allow you to host a meeting. The meeting organizer must use GoToMeeting on a Mac or PC.
Attending online meetings is free. For meeting organizers, the service starts at $49 per month.
